Berry Frozen Yogurt with Cinnamon Doughnut Holes
On a hot summer evening, tuck into these berry-full frozen yogurt. The warm cinnamon doughnuts soak up a bit of the frozen yogurt. Delish.

Berry Frozen Yogurt with Cinnamon Doughnut Holes


Berry Frozen Yoghurt

  • 150g frozen strawberries
  • 150g frozen raspberries
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 80 g plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Donut Holes

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg

How to make

Berry Frozen Yoghurt

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor
  2. Blend for 2 minutes, until creamy
  3. Freeze for 5 hours, then serve

Donut Holes

  1. Heat 5 cm of oil to 190°C.
  2. Combine flour, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  3. Add wet ingredients (oil, egg, vanilla) without a lot of mixing
  4. Drop small spoonfuls into hot oil, a few at a time
  5. Cook/Fry each doughnut hole for 1 minute on each side until golden brown.
  6. Let sit on a paper towel.
  7. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon, then roll warm doughnut holes in the mixture.
