Fruity Orange Pepper Smoothie
For this recipe, I decided to use an orange pepper to make a smoothie. I combined an orange pepper with some almond milk, banana, pineapple, mango, ginger and lemon juice. This made a wonderfully vibrant orange drink, filled with deliciously fruity flavours and subtle heat from the fresh ginger. I love drinking lots of freshly made smoothies during the springtime, so this is definitely my favourite drink at the moment!

Fruity Orange Pepper Smoothie


  • 1 cup (250ml) almond milk
  • 150g banana, peeled
  • 125g pineapple, peeled and chopped
  • 150g mango, peeled and chopped
  • 100g sliced orange pepper
  • 10g peeled fresh root ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

How to make

  1. Add the almond milk, banana, pineapple, mango, pepper, ginger and lemon into a blender.
  2. Blend everything together until smooth.
  3. When this is done, pour the drink into glasses and serve.
