Vegan Korean Shaved Ice
I loved Korean Shaved Ice and haven't been able to enjoy one since my vegetarian days, so it's great to make a vegan version just as delicious.

Vegan Korean Shaved Ice


  • 3 Cups of Ice Cubes
  • 1/2 Cup of Soy Cream (Mixed with 1 Tsp of Maple Syrup, and 1 Tsp of Vanilla Essence)
  • 2 Tbsp of Canned Sweet Red Bean
  • 1 Tsp of Flaked Almonds
  • 2 Tbsp of Kinako (Japanese Roasted Soybean Powder)

How to make

  1. Blitz the ice cubes in a blender until ice flakes begin to form, (use an ice shaver if possible).

  2. Place the shaved ice in a serving bowl, top with red bean, kinako, and almond flakes.

  3. Just before serving, pour the soy cream mixture on top.
