These vegan oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies are the perfect snack for a person on the go. Your cookies should end up crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, making the perfect combination. They take less than 30 mins to make and you're left with 16 delicious cookies that you'd never even guess were vegan #winning.

Oatmeal and chocolate cookies


  • 63g plain flour
  • 140g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 170g vegan butter
  • 85g brown sugar
  • 110g white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50g vegan chocolate chips

How to make

  • Start by preheating your oven to 180C
  • Place flour, oats, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl. Using a beater, cream the vegan butter and sugar together.
  • Place the brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla extract and chocolate chips in another mixing bowl. Add wet mixture and mix together.
  • Once you have your cookie dough, take two tbsps and roll into a ball and place on a well greased baking tray.
  • Bake for approx 15 mins. Cookies should look a little raw but be golden on the bottom.
  • Let them cool on a wire tray and then enjoy!
