The Pickle House
With a new found love for Picklebacks – a shot of whiskey followed by a shot of pickle juice – The Pickle House was born.
The Pickle House was established at the beginning of 2014 by Florence in Hackney, London. Having first been introduced to the idea of drinking pickle juice whilst in New York, she wanted to create a recipe that was specifically made to enjoy with cocktails and juices. Florence then spent many months developing the Original Pickle Juice recipe which she brews for twelve weeks with a blend of vinegar, sliced cucumbers, turmeric and spices to create a flavour that is both sweet and savoury.
The Pickle House have now launched their Bloody Mary Mix which has given a new depth to this much loved traditional drink with the addition of their Original Pickle Juice and an extra kick of spice from the fresh horseradish and cayenne pepper. Serve over ice on its own or with a shot of vodka and a slice of cucumber to make a seriously good Bloody Mary.
