Paleo Banana Bread
This is a moist gluten-free and paleo friendly recipe. And the best thing about it is that it's only sweetened by the ripe bananas in it, which allows you to eat it with a spread of your choice.

Paleo Banana Bread


  • 3 large bananas, mashed
  • 4 eggs, at room temp
  • 50g coconut oil
  • 160g almond flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1/2tsp baking powder
  • 2tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4tsp sea salt
  • 1tsp cinnamon

How to make

  • Pre-heat your oven to 190 degrees celsius. Line a medium loaf tin pan with parchment paper.
  • Using a hand mixer, combine all your wet ingredients, then add in the dry ingredients and make sure it is mixed well and the batter is smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into the loaf tin and bake for 1 hour until the top is golden brown.
  • Make sure to check half way through, and if the top is burning, cover with foil. Insert a skewer to check if it has baked through. If the skewer comes out clean, it is ready to come out of the oven.
