Matcha Brownies

  • 70g plain flour
  • 30g Momo Cha Fine Teas Matcha (Premium Matcha)
  • 120g good quality white chocolate, melted
  • 2 tsp milk
  • 70g unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 60g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g good quality white chocolate broken into small chunks

How to make

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line an 8x8in cake tin with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar together until white and fluffy, then add eggs one at a time.
  3. Stir in melted white chocolate and milk until combined.
  4. Fold the flour and matcha powder into the wet mix.
  5. Add half of the white chocolate chunks into the batter and mix (they have a tendency to sink to the bottom of the mix).
  6. Pour batter into pan and bake for 10 minutes until half done.
  7. Take pan out and sprinkle the other half of the white chocolate chunks over top of batter.
  8. Bake until set, about another 7-10 minutes.
