Chocolate Caramel Popcorn Bars
You know those ridiculously good popcorn bars, coated in caramel and chocolate that you find when queueing in Pret? Yeah, the one’s that scream “PICK ME” and somehow end up in your hands, scoffed before you’ve even tucked into lunch. (It’s okay, it’s not just you).

We decided to make our own alternative, but this time with a healthy twist. Let’s make it ourselves and make it healthier.

Chocolate Caramel Popcorn Bars


300g sweet and salty popcorn – Ikorn Mix - Himalayan / Salted / Sweet x 12 - £16.00

100g Rice Krispies

1 bar of dark chocolate, melted

10 medjool dates

120ml water

How to make

  1. Chop up dates and blitz in a food processor – add the water slowly to ensure it’s mixed in.

  2. Throw popcorn and Rice Krispies into a bowl and mix in date mixture – make sure this is completely coated!

  3. Melt your chocolate and once done, drizzle over popcorn.

  4. Leave to set in the fridge for 3-4 hours. We’d recommend serving with yet more chocolate!
