Apple Sauce
This simple apple sauce is perfect with roast pork and also freezes really well.

Apple Sauce

Ingredients

225g Cooking apples

½ Lemon zest

2 tbsp Water

15g Butter

1 tsp Caster sugar

How to make

  1. Peel, core and chop the apples and add them to a pan with the water and lemon zest.

  2. Cover the pan and cook over a low heat until the apple is soft.

  3. Remove from the heat and mix in the sugar and butter.

  4. Allow to cool before serving or freezing.
