Two Great Steaks
Great steaks need very little to accompany them. Sauteed potatoes or chips allow you to soak up all the lovely juices, and mushrooms cooked in the pan after the meat will take on all the beautiful steak-y flavour

Two Great Steaks


How to make

  1. Rub the steak with a little olive oil
  2. Rub 1/2 tsp of your rub of choice into each side of the steak, and leave at room temperature for 30 mins
  3. Cook the steak to your liking on a bbq, griddle pan or grill (see below for instructions)
  4. Season with salt to taste and leave to rest for at least 5 minutes
  5. Whilst the steak is resting, sauté the mushrooms in the pan used for the steaks

Steak cooking instructions

  • For rare - 2 mins per side
  • For medium - 3 mins per side
  • For well done - 4 mins per side

(Cooking times can vary depending on cut of steak)
