Rich in culture and food history, the countries on the shores of the sparkling Mediterranean sea have all contributed to the wealth of flavour that makes up the Mediterranean diet. There’s nothing quite like the aromas and spices of North Africa, the delicious fruits and ripe tomatoes of Italy and Spain, the amazing fish and meat of the Med.
This course takes you on a journey through the Mediterranean islands, getting you up close to this exciting cuisine. You’ll learn the art of mezze and how to concoct tasty tapas in a mere two hours, with flavour pulsing through every dish you create.
You’ll learn knife skills, food preparation and flavour balancing along with key cooking techniques from the Med. Then you’ll move on to cooking a slew of delicious recipes from the sunshine shores. Vegetarians are welcome! We can teach vegetarian equivalents of the dishes below.
