The Big Fig makes fresh, delicious food using locally sourced and organic Sussex ingredients. We offer exciting menus for events, parties and business meetings, delivering exceptional catering whilst also creating positive social outcomes. Our profit is reinvested to teach people with barriers to work to cook healthy food, learn skills, gain qualifications and get into a career in catering. We are a part of The Platform, a social enterprise with the aim of creating a thriving social economy in Brighton and Hove and beyond.
Join us at our Brighton future chefs pop ups where we give our graduates a space to shine and show you how far they have come and to taste their specially created menus and dishes, this is a great opportunity for you to come and taste what these Brighton chefs of the future have to offer.
You can also join us at our Monthly Veg Box pop up, where our 2 head chef trainers bring you delicious creative seasonal menus using our local Barcombe nursery Veg and Fruit boxes just like you get at home, brining you mouth-watering delights and ideas for you to take back into your kitchen at home.
Improve your own kitchen skills by signing up for one of our Big Fig day courses, we have a range of day courses to help you gain more skill from Nose to tail butchery, Veg Box treats, presentation skills to fish fileting and cooking techniques.
